People Helping
People Together is a cooperative effort to provide home
renovations and repairs to the needy. Our desire is to transform
entire neighborhoods by renovating one house at a time. We are
doing this by partnering with churches, non-profit
organizations, local businesses, and government agencies. Our
current focus is the east side of Columbia, TN, but any
homeowner who is physically or financially unable to help
themselves can qualify.
The
purpose of this ministry is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to
share his love with others by serving them. Although this
ministry falls under the oversight of the Maury Hills Church, in
reality, it is the ministry of the entire community. Our goal is
to serve the community in which we live.
What if the
local government, police departments, non-profits, banks,
businesses and churches could actually come together and work
toward a common goal? What could we accomplish in our community
if we all pulled together? Help us find out. |
